Tennessee state law requires that if you are convicted of a DUI in Tennessee, you must complete a prime for life DUI school and an alcohol and drug assessment. The law does not state that you should be shuffled into an uncomfortable classroom and lectured for 12 hours. Marcus Jemison LADAC II NCAC I is licensed and certified to provide these services, and he does so with a unique approach.
The DUI school is held at the Recovery Consulting Service’s private counseling office at 306 Uptown Square Murfreesboro. The office environment is relaxed and confidential. The groups of 2 to 6 participants are small and non-confrontational. Marcus uses the state approved Prime for Life curriculum. The 12 hour class can be divided into either 4 or 6 hour segments. Marcus strives to work with your schedule and make this a positive experience. At the end of the school, participants are given a certificate of completion.

Marcus Jemison is a nationally certified and Tennessee state licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor. He is also a nationally certified prime for life instructor. Marcus has been helping individuals and families in Middle Tennessee recover from substance use problems for over 17 years. Prior to starting his private practice, he was a primary counselor at one of Nashville's oldest and most established addiction treatment facilities. In fact, he has worked in a variety of counseling settings to include both inpatient and outpatient.
